Our Connemaras

14.2 hh  purebred Connemara bay roan mare sired by Moxley Duncan and out of Aladdin's Catoquin (by Aladdin). 

Ivy is the matriarch of Rockaway Farms. This pony is a superstar - she can do it all! We call her our "push button pony" because this lady is so willing and fun to work with. Her first foal, Rock My World (by Hornhurst Branni) has made a name for herself in the VA show circuit so we expect great things from Koco and Fleur!

Kizzy (14.2 hh purebred buckskin mare) is the granddaughter of Newmont Isadora Duncan, the only foal out of Rock My World (bred by the Mackies) and sired by Rattle N' Snap Laddie Boy. She passes on her beautiful buckskin gene from her sire and is always a show-stopper wherever we go. Full of personality and goofy charm, Kizzy is a Rockaway Farms favorite!

Piper is the newest addition to Rockaway farms! She is a 15.3 hh 3 y/o Connemara Sport horse filly by Diego Dolphin out of a premium warmblood mare by Judgement. She has just been started under saddle and has already won our hearts with her friendly and curious personality!

Stella is our "honorary Connemara". She is a 14 hh QH/Paint/TWH/Spanish Barb cross and the dam of both River and Rockit. We chose Stella for her work ethic, athleticism, and easy-going personality. She has passed on those amazing traits and we absolutely treasure her fillies!

River (5 y/o ) is 13.2 hh, by Loughrea's Seamus out of Stella. She is a striking half-bred Connemara mare and while still green, River is a fast learner and is doing exceptionally well in her training! She will make someone a great show pony and/or best friend one day!
